WA Travel
As an A.C.E.S. nurse, you’ll have the opportunity and flexibility to work around your leisure hours. A.C.E.S. work in conjunction with a number of WA services to provide the opportunity to not only broaden your knowledge and experiences within the WA nursing industry, but also explore and experience the wonders of WA’s metropolitan and rural wonders.Rural & Regional Western Australia.
If you are planning to make your way around our vast and beautiful state of Western Australia, you may like to consider some rural placements. Most contracts offer free flights and subsidized accommodation, providing you with an economical way to see WA. Work is available in places of great natural beauty, so talk to the A.C.E.S. team about the huge variety of options available to you. Some places of particular interest are:
South West: WA’s south-west region is full of natural wonders. From the fantastic surfing conditions along the coast to the massive caves around Margaret River, you’ll always find something to explore. The lush Karri forests around Pemberton are home to Western Australia’s tallest trees, and south-western beaches are often visited by large groups of whales.
Kimberley The Kimberly region – in the northern half of WA – is where you will find tropical, picturesque Broome, the amazing natural rock formations of the Bungle Bungles and the man-made Lake Argyle.
Goldfields The goldfields are the heart of the Western Australian outback. The town of Kalgoorlie stands in the centre of a dusty, red desert which many people consider to be the real Australia. Steeped in history, alive with memories of the gold rush, the goldfields are a must for any adventurous traveller.
